Today October 8, 2018 Happy Indigenous peoples Day!!! Now like many of you I  don't knew my first language I don't know what Native I am. I was born in Southwest Texas  USA I only know my  broken Spanish  language and  only  what I heard growing up. I am still leaning  my  third broken English language . Now I might be Maya I might be Aztec I might be Mestizo. I think I am going with Mestizo I am  thinking  that's what Cesario Duran from Crystal City said  once  he was so I will go with that Mestiza.  Now I remember big brother telling  me Dr Gutierrez would make home visits  to our grandmother Barbara Fernandez. I also remember Mrs Aguilar mother to Jimmy Aguilar telling me she met my grandmother and she was of light skin that means she was more of European than me.
